Just bought my Carbon Fiber Hood

if thats shipped then i would say yes., if you had to pay like $200 for shipping then thats more then i would have payed.

for hood and install thats not a bad price... what kind of carbon fiber? colored? black what style hood??? come on man details....

well its black carbon fiber.....stock design..they dont have other designs yet

Are Carbon Fiber hoods street legal ? Can I cruise around on the freeway or are they unsafe for that ? Look forward to the pictures as well.

yes they are legal from what i know...i really don't see why they would be illegal...but i guess it depends on what state you live in.

I thought I read somewhere that since they are so light the may rip off your hood and smash into your or someone elses windshield if air were to get underthem when your driving fast. I've seen some with a vent on top those looked cool as well.

i know that i california it is illegal to have a hood made completley out of CF so they have to put fiberglassin them

perhaps an incorrectly made hood with a weak latch will do so. but out of all the people on this board and other boards, how many cases have you heard of that happening? if you're paranoid, there are always hood pins.

without elaborating too much, i had been in many high speed runs with a wings west hood installed. stock latch, no pins, no problems.

I went to the site, those videos of them running over the hood and jumping on it were pretty funny.

$395 is a great price, it's times like these I wish I lived back is Culver City again.

Are you going to paint your grill to match the CFHood? Ive seen one 3 with the grill painted to match and it looks tons better than the normal color and the hood
