Hey Everyone,
I recently bought a new CX70 PHEV. Big change, for me since I came from a sedan/import tuner world. Started with an Accord in college, RSX Type S after college, and recently sold my Lexus IS which I had for 12 years and loved. About a year ago, my wife's CRV was totaled and we looked at several models including the CX70. She ended up going for an Acura RDX but the CX-70 stayed on my mind. I loved the look and with the incentives they were offering this summer, I couldn't say no, I decided to take the plunge. It's my first Mazda but my brother really sold me on them since he had a 3 for 15 years and just bought a brand new 3. Coming from sportier handling cars, I was very surprised at how this thing handles and goes(when it's charged). I love having all that in a big car. Transmission takes a little getting used to, especially coming from the IS but no car is perfect, Lexus included. The pros of this car outweigh the cons by miles. Long story short, I love driving this as much as my Lexus. I love that I don't see too many of them on the road and I love the quality. We'll just have to see how it goes for the next 3 years and if I keep it or not. Glad to be here, hope to learn and share!
