Just bought a 2017 CX5 - should I be resetting the transmission shift pattern?

Hi!

I just got my CX5 this morning. First Mazda, super stoked.

Question - should I be doing a transmission reset as described in this video:

I don't have any issues, but I'd like it to me "my own" if that makes sense.
