I was thinking of ways to get colder air to my Intake because im usually sitting in 85-95degree weather all the time.
This might be a really stupid idea/question, Or it could be genius!!!
Idea #1
Has anyone thought of running your intake (CAI) into the cabin of the car? IE, running hardpipe into the cabin of the car so that you are sucking cabin air up rather than air from in the engine bay or outside the vehicle.
I know that in Louisiana, its freaking "hot as balls" most of the time and colder air would be supplied by my in-cabin A/C. Im sure the air sucked in would also be cleaner (but thats what you have a filter for).
Maybe run it thru the firewall and under the dash. Or possibly under the car and up under driver/passenger seat. the filter can sit under driver or passenger seat out of the way.
I m not sure how much noise it would make???
Idea#2
run one of your A/c ducts directly in front of the CAI filter. This will allow the A/C as well as outside air to be sucked thru the CAI.
Just a thought. Please discuss.
