Just a dream?

Anyone here have any experience with the Roadrover units? either C7113MC or S7113MC?

Are they really plug and play units that support the stock camera, lighting/wipers/lock options, etc.?

They started to sell it few weeks ago. In the russian forum there is a video. The roadrover unit is sold there under InTRo brand name. I am waiting for a sample to publish additional info.

The mirroring capability is not implemented yet. They will do it in a few weeks.

Wow it looks pretty good. Do you know of a seller for the US?

I found the non-Android model C7113MC available through some online sellers but can't find the Android version S7113MC.

Hmmmm jailbroken CX-5, sounds fun and a lot more exciting than the factory headunit that is sporting 5 year old technology. The RoadRover units look promising, specifically the C7113MC videos and descriptions... especially since they claim to maintain the MFD vehicle controls and install direct to the factory wiring harnesses. I am wondering if anyone has hands-on yet and if they deliver/install/work as promised? Or has anyone found another 3rd party headunit that installs with little/no fuss/re-wiring?

I am stil, in touch with the manufacturer.
They are upgrading the headunit to android ics or jellybean. For that they are upgrading ram to 1gb.
Inthe same way, they are implementing the mirroring feature. The android phone should be rooted and it only works via cable, not wirelessly.

Main market currently is pointed to Russia. Once all the mods were implemented, new markets will come.

I've always wondered if you could hijack the video feed from the GPS modular to hook android tv stick up to it or something. I attached a photo of the 3 wires that are used for the GPS mod black one is power, white one might be audio not 100%, but the grey one is defiantly the feed from the GPS mod to the radio the wire is directly plugged into the deck. So question is what kind of connect is it and can we convert it to usb or rca? The plug has 4 pins in it so could they be left audio right audio video and touch? How would one even begin to figure that out? I've also stumbled across this cable but it female not male but its interesting
