I just finished installing my GT28rs(ported/polished inlet), spal fans, Defi BF boost gauge and control unit, Rockblocker Blue headlight/foglight covers, and Mazdaspeedster lower grill. I am pretty conservative with the boost, and am just running 9psi right now, so I don't have the #s of some of the higher profile MSPs out there. I believe I am just a turn of the MBC and some tuning on the MPI away from some pretty decent numbers. I try and keep a good balance of performance and sleeper appearance mods. Here is my current list of modifications:

2003 Black Mica MSP (Second one)
Performance: DGM ram air CF hood (w/modified NA protege SRI), Turbohoses hard pipes, Greddy type S BOV, Kartboy shifter mount bushings, Corksport bronzoil shift linkage bushings, Perrin 3" J-pipe back SS exhaust, Turbohoses SMIC, MAM SS tubular turbo mani, Nology ignition wire kit (blue), Denso IK22 plugs, MPI tuner, GT28RS turbo, Spal 9" & 12" fans
Suspension/Braking: Rotoworks cross-drilled/slotted rotors w/axxis pads, Corksport SS brake and clutch lines (blue), AWR front motor mount(M/T), Rota Attack bronze wheels w/ Toyo proxes TS-1 tires, Kartboy exhaust hangars
Electronics/monitoring: AEM WB02 mounted in 03 MSP's M2G, Defi-link control unit II, Defi BF boost guage mounted in Autometer 1-guage A-pillar pod, HKS type-1 full auto TT, JL audio 8W3V2-D4 sub
Appearance: tinted windows, P7 deadpedal, Delivery Guy's custom shift boot, Hosetechniques universal SVH kit (blue), Dexter's hood prop kit, DG motorsports CF strut tower bar/engine cover/grill/mirror covers, Mazdaspeedster's lower grill mesh, Rockblocker Blue headlight/foglight covers, Calipers painted blue/black
Oils/fluids/filters: Amsoil 10W-40 High Performance synthetic, K&N HP1008 oil filter, Redline MT-90 tranny fluid, Motul DOT 5.1 brake fluid
Awaiting install/on order: NSN Motorsports IM/TB spacers, Defi-link oil pressure guage, MAM Fuel rail, , Boostscience Reflex DV & DS-1 MBC, MAM SS Downpipe (jet-hot coated), Rockblocker smoked taillight covers, ported/polished IM with VTCS removed.

you have one very sweet car.

i think yellow or orange overlays on the front would have looked a little sweeter, but that's just my personal taste, i guess.

how much more tuning does the mpi need? are you doing it yourself?

Dexter has the yellow overlays on his foglights, and it looks pretty good. Blue is just the color scheme I have going, so I stuck with it.

I do tune the MPI myself. A/F is easy because I have a wideband. You can record while you are driving, and see your A/f from you stock narrowband and the current load/RPM on the map. That makes it easy to adjust. I haven't started messing with timing yet, and probably won't until I get the J&S Safegaurd. I just use the timing off the Base map MPNick sent me, which I imagine is fairly conservative.

dyno time.

buy my extra injector controller sell me the mpi and we will both be happy!

have you put the maf on the pressure side yet? If not i suggest you do so.

after you get the mbc and downpipe, are you gonna dyno it?

I have the MBC, along with the ported/polished IM, the IM and TB spacers, and MAM fuel rail sitting in my garage. Those will go on when I get the built shortblock. 20 credits of Electrical Engineering start tomorrow, which along with my Navy activities don't allow for much install time.

I will dyno it, once I get the downpipe, at 9psi (which is stock boost with the RS wastegate actuator). A few friends of mine are setting up a dyno day at a local shop.

I have a perfect mix with my dual BOV/BPV setup right now. I have no turkey, no stalling, and my A/f ratios are tuned perfectly. I would only do that if I was planning on running just a BOV.

And I can't trade my MPI away just when I am getting good at tuning with it:)

Edit: I would be very happy if I dropped 250 to the wheels at 9psi.
