Hey guys,

I'm thinking we invite the Edmonton club down here for a bbq in the summer. I was thinking Lake Minnewanka in Banff or maybe in Glenmore Park again. We can meet them somewhere like Airdrie and cruise to our destination together. Since they're coming down through Highway 2, it'd be convenient. Any ideas or suggestions? Please post.

Timeframe.. I was thinking around July

Glen as long as someone has maps printed up so we don't lose anyone Ithink it should go over well. Also, we should pick a weekend that is NOT a long weekend.

You read my mind Chris. Did you get the pics I sent to you? Hope they didn't clog up your mailbox as each pic was around 500kb.

Let's aim for July 17-18. Saturday or Sunday. Those are target dates and it's not on a long weekend and it's in July so the younger members don't have school anymore *cough, Justin, cough*

A Saturday would be good as we have to drive back to Edmonton after. That way we can sleep in on the Sunday and not have to get up for work.

So would Justin be borrowing a P5 to come cruising with us? :)

Oh I got the pictures fine Glen and posted them on our board already. Thanks very much.

Ya..Saturday would be best. Let's do it! I'm going to check out Lake Minnewanka tomorrow and go for a cruise. Scope out the area. I think that would be an ideal spot. In Banff in the mountains. The only thing is we need to pay the toll in order to park inside the National Park. Hope you guys don't mind?

Hey I'm game. Last time I went into banff national park (feb) it was around 14.00/car. If the cost is an issue, I suggest Elbow fall's in Kananaskis. The parking lot is big, it's closer to Calgary, easy to get to, free, and there are BBQ pits. Oh and the falls are nice.

Yup..that would be an alternative as well. We'll keep on suggesting ideas and the cutoff for a decision on LOCATION will be made in a month's time. But July 17-18 is the time.

I'm up for wherever.. any excuse for road trips is good enough for me :).. I can't remember exactly what we paid.. but when I was through there at new years.. we were pretty shocked.. (they significantly raised it last year).. it was about 65 bux for 4 days.. myself, my car, and 1 passenger.. so 14 dollars sounds about right.. and the money goes to keeping the park pretty.. so I don't mind paying it..

We could meet in sylvian lake, that is half way to edmonton, and there are mad hotties running around there all the time.

We gotta make the edm guys drive all the way here since they made me and Em drive all the way up ;) LOL..
