Joined Yesterday, Drove home New CX9 Today

Hi All,

This is my first post. I just got back from the dealer and drove home my new 2010 Cx9 Touring Stormy Blue Mica/Sand. I am a long time Mazda customer and have bought several new models over the years. Here is the list:
1986 - RX7 Sport
1987 - Rx7 Turbo II (traded in the 1986)
1990 - 626 (got married)
1993 - Mx6 (these cars still look good)
1997 - Millenia S (Serious Zoom Zoom)
2004 - Mazda6 (wife still owns)

This list does not include the used Mazdas I've owned.

I'm still going through the manual trying to figure everything out. I got the Sat radio activated right after I got home, priorities you know.

Anyway, thought I drop in to say hello.

CX9 is my first Mazda.
I used to own several Hondas/Acuras.

Welcome. The CX-9 is my first Mazda as well. I've never really settled on a make. However, I like the CX-9 so much that I might think about getting another Mazda when it's time to replace our Nissan.

yes i agree. first mazda is the 2010 cx-9 awd gt white just got it a few weeks ago. my wife used to own an mx-6 from the late 80s, still running!

4 Mazda trucks (not rebadged Furds), 83, 88, 92, 92.... all bulletproof. I CAN'T make them quit.

This is my first Mazda also (though I have had plenty of Fords, whom Mazda saved in the '80's) Mine's a Sport with power seat, and I had leather added. Stormy, of course, and a lot of fun so far. Our other car is a Prius, so our fleet average is about 31 mpg so far. I'll be 67 in July, and this car brings out the 25 year old in me! Its just plain fun to drive. So, if you see a stormy blue from Texas coming up behind you - honk - I'll wave.
