John Koons Mazda, Marlow Heights

Anyone been here recently and saw how many Titanium or Sunlight Silver MSPs they have left? I don't know how up-to-date Mazda USA's inventory list is.

I'm weighing the options of getting an MSP the last weekend of Feb or waiting until March, when my finances will align themselves better.

yea, i got mine from them back in october. bought mine at night, so i couldnt count how many they had, but there were a lot. they even had some 03's. it seemed as if they had the same number of RX-8's as MSP's!

I bought my car from Koon's in Marlow Heights and hated them! I had a horrible experience with my salesguy! I will never go back there for anything.

Hey guys I actually work for a mazda dealership just south of koons and believe me i know the experience you're talking about. Everytime I've gone there for a dealer exchange it's been a horrible experience. If you folks are seriously considering a mazda then please by all means contact me. Our dealership has been an elite dealership since 1995 and I personally have maintained a VERY high Customer satisfaction percentage, 97.6%. I would love help out if any of you in here have any questions or are in need of a vehicle. Please do contact me.

its true, theyre not the best salesmen. i actually had two guys help me. test drive was nice, they took theyre own msp, gave me the keys to mine and we took them on a nice test drive where i did whatever i wanted with the car. got a real test drive. they didnt even know how to program the radio. had to drive with an RX-8 shift knob for a couple days and no tire valve stem caps since my sale ended at 1030 at night. but i was a young guy and i knew what i wanted. had my dad do all the price negotiations, (but i pay for the car), while i got to know everything about the car. sucks that theyre the closest mazdaspeed dealer to me though...

HEY JOHN,

my local dealer up here in bmore was a real ass on my first visit.....i need the bushings and also the sub....can u get the replace ment subwoofer anytime soon? also i have a pressure crack on my windshield and my dealer tied to say it was a rock chip...which is total bs cus the only chip on it is so tiny i found 5 more of similer size thru out the whole windshield...let me know if u can help...i caravan all the way down if u guys can cover this for me

I bought my P5 from Browns Alexandria Mazda...where DjElement works. Had to be THE best experience all around...from sales reps to figuring out my options for monthly payments. I would HIGHLY recommend Browns to anyone trying to find a Mazda.

btw, they were the only ones with a showroom dedicated to MSP's. Sucks that it was a tad out of my budget but oh well :)

yep, I feel the same way! Every time there is something I know is not right with the car...they say it's normal!!! :wtf:

I need new bushing all the way around, and my clutch looked at because it is shuddering when I decellerate and downshift from 5th to 4th. So I am sure that shudder is normal too!

Well thank you Tony, good feed back is always awesome to hear!! This is a typical story of our dealership (sorry for cheesy dealer sounding lingo).

If you can, go ahead and bring it down here and I'll have one of my guys look at it.

hey sabado...wanna take a road trip lol.....il call ya monday out dj....i was thinkin about a sub upgrade dependin on ur hook up...ill let u know when i call...thanks

Hey autobox....My new sub came in from Towson S&S Mazda....took a good month, but I'm supposed to get it put in on thursday. So if you don't mind waiting a month they can get it for you I'm sure. They put new rear bushings on my car too, but have not acknowledged the front yet, even though I have complained. That's one strike... I'll try to complain again, then I'm taking it somewhere else...

btw, they new sub is prolly coming out if it doesn't sound good when I put in my system. I don't need heavy bass, but I do need bass so I hope it will do...
