Nothing on that due to the amount of time it would take for delivery. I can only do a couple of them a month and right now there is about 1 month delivery time on them. If I had a group buy on them and got a lot of orders, I would be screwed :).

So Joe, if I order the kit now, will mine be the only current order that you would have to fill? Can I pay you with a credit card from your website? I ready to to order it today if I can use the CC! Do you have a recommendation for a good guage pod also?

No, there are a couple orders ahead of you. The E-MBC is something I don't really try to push due to the hassle of getting them ordered (ALWAYS delays) and built (take 2+ hours each). I don;t like sitting on peoples $$$ for over a month at times waiting for these things to be ready to go. I just continue to offer them for those that "have to have it" :).

Well, I'm in no hurry right now! I was going to purchase some parts and hold onto them until next summer anyway. Thanks for the quick response!

I put my JoeP MBC on today AND IT ROCKS!!! The car came alive! Thanks Joe!!! :D

Thanks and don't mention it :)..

PS- What do you guys think- at $25, is it even worth trying to work out a sale price on the FPR kits????

I don't think so. The # of people without the flash is shrinking every day & there are several people like me who bought the FPR before the flash was announced & are now selling it.

Hey quick question,

How easy is it to remove the FCD kit and return the car to stock for those of us that are eventually planning on getting fuel management someday?

But the flash is just a band aid that hides the rich mixture, it does nothing to actually fix it :).. The FPR kits are still selling strong even post-flash. The guys with the flash want it because the car is still rich, the other guys feel the flash is a hack and refuse to get it until MAzda actually fixes it right and just run my FCD anyway. Ahh, for $25, there is no sense in it anyway it is cheap enough I guess :).. Thanks.

Piece of cake. About 5 minutes max depending on where you put it.
Joe

I have the FPR and I think I'm going to put it on post flash. There is still the richness that Joe speaks of, that's for sure. The flash has masked the stumble to a good degree but it's still there.

Just ordered the MBC XZ... woohoo!
My car was flashed yesterday and is getting new swaybar endlinks today.... Should be hesitation and clunk-free when I pick it up... oh, the pleasure... hope the clunk fix lasts long enough to when the 'real fix' comes out but, we'll see.

Next step is getting the exhaust done. I'm getting a quote from a guy that does turbo-back's locally.

Then it'll be a year before I can save up for the big enchilada: FMIC and hardpipes.

Anyway, thanks for doing the R&D and selling the kits, Joe.

Well I have had my Little Joey MBC for months on end and it was the best 35$ I have ever spent.
This car at 12PSI is a WORLD better than it was at 5PSI.
Yes, 5PSI! Several of us had stock MSP's running only 5PSI.
But thanks to Joey's Magic MBC I was able to move on up to a little place called 12PSI-Ville.:D
The comments I get now in my car from passengers are,"Damn I felt like I was looking at the sky for the first two gears."
Thanks Joey I don't care if you are a cross dressing Italian midget your a-ok in my book.

That sucks, sorry to hear it..

Speaking of "issues" with cars- those who knew the whole mustang story- the ******* paint on the passenger quarter panel is PEELING ALREADY!!! They wanted to fix it for a FOURTH time and I told them what they can do with the car. Sooo... I am really torn now- they are offering to 1) repair it RIGHT this time, 2) locate an identical mustang GT for me and take this back or 3) take it in on trade for exactly what I paid for it (basically a buyback) and let me replace it with an Evo.. I am torn- I wanted an Evo since long before I got this car and it is right up my alley with the whole turbo thing and especially being a DSM :). But, car for car- the mustang looks better (imho) and is a lot "more car" for the same price as far as leather, convertable, sound :), etc..

I had no plans on getting rid of this thing any time soon, but once I saw the paint peeling (those who know the whole story will understand), I lost it and as much as I love the car, it is a principles thing now... I would honestly love to get it fixed right and be done with it, but just because of the hassles, part of me doesn't even want it anymore :(.
Joe

Get the EVO, you will be happier in the long run I think, mustangs are very common now a days. But on the other hand the EVO 8 will have a big production line for parts shortly which might hurt you if you plan on making EVO specific parts, or help you out if you want to buy some. Just my two cents.

I used to dislike these EVOs, but this car is truly gorgeous. You know you want it Joe! :p

I'd still prefer this one though:

Lol- the one I drove was red and had the rally graphics on it (same stipes as the one you have there) with the nuber on the side and all.. They wanted almost $2000 more for the graphics and I told them they had to go $1000 below sticker price just for my time to remove all the decals :)..

I really liked the "feel" of the EVO- the small wheel, the shifter was in just the right spot, etc... The Mustang has an awkward feel that always leaves me kind of uncomfortable to really push it on anything but a straight away- the sifter is located too far forward, the seats have no lateral support at all, etc. It just doesn't give the same level of confidence the EVO does.. I don't know though- the Stang is sweet looking and I have always loved the sound of them. I thought about that as I went through a toll booth on my way home last night and heard it echo off the sides- really sweet sound..

Anyway, I have attached a pic of my GT so you guys can see it. The pic is kind of bad because the sun was going down and I had to lighten the pic... Who knows, I will probably take the EVO just because of the whole experience.. We'll see...
Joe
