The JIC is amazing, I got it at 8:15 PM last night. I did not get off last night until mid-night. I opened the box and angels cried and doves flew out of the box. (lol) :) The stainless construction on this is amazing, I can see why Spool ITS has gone to this matierial for there turbo piping. It Is so well polished that I wanted to hang it on the wall instead of put it on the car. It looks like art. Well enough of the ramble. I could not resist so out came the jack stands and in 45 minute, out with the old in with the new. After the first test drive the tip was rubbing my bumper. The only real solution was to bend the exhaust hanger down just a little bit. Out came a pry bar and it was all good. Without the silencer it is a little loud but you can tell the difference in the RPMs and pickup. With the silencer in it is nice and subtle growl. Compared to my old Racing Beat it weighs 25 lbs less and is a better looking piece. I like both of them, but the JIC is better through the powerband then the Racing Beat.

Another great product brought to you by Auto RND! (shameless plug)

sweet exhaust..........ive always loved the JIC exhausts, its actually what i wanted for the my IS. Do they also make the titanium tip one for the protege??

Yea the JIC is the s***. Dont put that bullet sticker on any paint though, or when you go to take it off, the paint will come with it!!!

Sticker is not in the most attractive colors anyways. It would never see paint anyways. There will be only a few stickers on this car and none on the paint, just glass for me. I am not a sticker guy. Nothing near the windshield either. :D

Picture, It tucks itself nicely up under the car. You can hardly even see it.

Did you do any modification to get the spacing between the exhaut tip and the bumper?

It looks like you have the silencer in, how'd you like it w/o it?

I had to bend the exhaust hanger to keep it from touching my bumper. I have small rub mark from my first test drive. After that I made the adjustment.

Ahh...Good idea on bending the exhaust hanger..Never thought about it.

Sean from AutoRnD cut the middle part of rubber exhaut hanger and put a lug nut in there to widen the exhaust hanger. They work fine, but I want a bit more spacing.

Did you try the exhaut w/o the silencer? :)

Looking sharp! keep up the good work!

Yeah without the silencer it is just a little to loud and attracts alot of attention. I think that I will keep the silencer in for just around the neighborhood. Then to show it off sometimes I will take it out. I get better throttle response with the silencer out. I think it balanced that little bit of lag that this car has in third gear also. Final word: It is definitely a well designed good looking exhaust and I definitely don't regret my purchase. Thanks for the compliment on my car.

i have no resonator with my exhaust and will be adding one next week, hopefully i will be able to drive without the silencer.

The "Bullet" badge lasted about two weeks on my muffler. It fell of when I was on the highway. Love the exhaust though. I've got no cats and 2.5" straight pipe going into it and it's not too loud or too quiet.
