What have you guys run into on Jerry rigging? Whether you have done it or some one else.

I have a long list from the previous owners on my 323 along with a few from the protege I've done and my old Honda and other cars

On my old Honda
some one cross threaded the rear motor mount nut, it was re cross threaded when I did the clutch, the brake line got a hole in it I put a small c clamp on it and drove it for 2 days till the new one came in

On the protege
the stock intake tube ripped, I used one off a Pontiac vibe for a year till I did an Sri, the ignitions switch died and couldn't get one soon enough so I did a push button to send power to the starter the key still has to be in the on position.

On the 323
Some one ****** the vaccume lines up and there are still a few unconnected. Somebody somehow used front struts on the rear. It uses a pin to hold the brake pads on on the front, the drivers side had 1 pin on one side and a clothes hanger tied up on the other side. The trans is a fwd mercury Capri along with shifter and shifter rods, it was originally awd and used cables, trans also used a hydraulic clutch Capri uses a cable

Buddy of mine bought an 89 prelude on cut springs. It sat so low that the stock wiring harness (which runs through the passenger wheel well) was starting to ground out cause the tire has worn the insulation off. So what do I do? Three butt connectors later and about three feet of electrical tape the harness was repaired. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! So to get to the harness we had to take the fender off. While the fender was off, we used large white panduit strap (Really big zip ties used in HVAC to secure ducting) to tie the harness back up out of the way...didn't bother to put the fender back on, just threw it in the trunk. Took the hood off a couple days later...oh man, did we wanna make a back to the future honda clone.
