Didn't really like mine either so I sold it, too. I like the ease of shifting with the stock one. The throws were almost too short with the jbarone piece. This is just me though. I know a bunch of people have been happy with it. Different storkes for different folks.

I didn't like the shifting at all with this short shifting plate. It's just wayy too short & more effort is required to shift.

Mine was very very notchy until i changed my tranny fluid. Now it's very usable and not nearly as difficult to get into gear.
