read the name of the link and the title under BEGI!

any product that does fuel enrichment by restricting the return line of the fuel system...FMU, I didn't say that it's bad..It's a very good & inexpensive way to do fuel mangement for a base kit!

I already know what I have in my car and what the Flyin' Protege uses. I put mine in...

Keith From FM claims he doesn't know what does an FMU stands for....I just want him to know that from now onwards!

I believe he was asking what you meant by it.

I'm pretty sure Keith knows what one is.

Why is that??

That would be because when I hit boost under partial throttle, I see my A/F gauge goes from rich to lean...and stays there unless I let off, or go WOT.

Then it's probably wired up wrong or you've popped off the signal hose.

Keith

I checked it all out. I will re-check all the wires. It seems to only go lean in the lower gears when I'm on it hard.

In the meantime, I need to figure out which knock sensor I will be getting. Keith, the knock sensors mounted to the engine mounts, how accurate are those. The J&S unit has adjustable sensitivity, so I wonder if one mounted to the engine mount will work?

I would recommend using the sensor shipped with the J&S, and use our mount if you need to. The location of the sensor will affect how sensitive it is which is why the unit can be adjusted.

Ok,

I went back and checked it all out, and when I hit the +0 PSI threshold, I hear the little "click" of the pressure switch activating, and the A/F goes to the green side. It seems to only happen in the lower gears (1st-3rd), but it will go back to the lean (red) side after a few seconds if I am under partial throttle. John, on the TPS signal wire, how can we get that to activate later? By the way, I want to purchase the knock sensor, so if you could get in contact with me (214-676-0383) I would appreciate it. Keith, keep that bracket handy!

If it's going lean again, there's an installation problem. That means the ECU is compensating for the fuel you're adding. What's your fuel pressure doing?

The switch has been working great, but lateley....
I will have to pull the gauge from under the hood, and do some testing when this damn Ice and sleet dissappears. I will check and see what the fuel pressure gauge accually does.

Our stock fuel pump started failing on us - and this certainly could be a symptom of the same happening to you. I'd recommend installing an auxiliary pump. They're included with our kits now.

That's already a part of the plan my man!;)

Yeah, get that aux pump ASAP.

OT: Will the spool stage 4 kit come with an aux fuel pump?
