Well I finally got my WW evo hood about 15 minutes ago!It's sitting on my front porch in the box still!
I am afraid to open it up,but at least it made it here in an un-damaged box!
Now I just got to figure out if I am going to keep the damn car!

Lets just say i prob paid less than MOST.My buddy runs a shop and hooks it up.I did not get the covers that go underneath if that is what you are talking about.Unless they put them in the box with the hood.I have not even opened the box up yet to look at the hood.I think I will wait to open it.

if you dont order those dirt and water will soak your engine bay I'm going to buy the same hood in 2 weeks GET THE INSERTS if you dont your going to regret it. I'm going to take the inserts out when I show the car

Lets see...um no!
I had a Kaminari ram air hood on my del sol for two years with chrome and polishing everywhere under the hood and never had ONE PROBLEM driving it in the rain ,snow or any other inclimate weather.Every other time i washed the car it got detailed under the hood and especially before a show.I see no need to buy something you could easily make anyway.Have you actually seen the covers?They are just flat pieces of plexi cut to fit the opening.This has been cobered like a million times and other than getting a little dirt under the hood(cleanable)there will be no effect on the performance of the motor.

Ok ,well later last night i decided to take a peek at the hood,and i found a couple of interesting things.For starters,I peeled back the protective film on the hood to check out the quality of the CF and....ummm...yeah....IT's AWESOME!And second,I took a peek at the grille covers adn to my surprise they were not what I had expected.They have a polished finish on them when I expected the flat silver/grey that WW is known for on their Body kits.I was pleasantly surprised on the out come of what I have seen so far.I will get pics up when I finally get it out of the box and inspect it a little closer.If you guys know me,you know that I am very critical on my aftermarket product selection and I WILL ONLY use the best.If something does not meet my EXPECTATIONS,it will never make it onto my car.I will give you guys my thoughts and ratings on this hood when i finish checking it out fully.I will say that the weave is some of the nicest CF I have ever seen so far.

I've got the same hood, but not installed either (waiting until spring). CF is excellent, grills are polished nicely, and I too think the inserts are a waste. I got the hood to let hot air out. . .not keep it in!
