Alright!
Drove off the lot last night in my MSP at 6:30 PM.
Woohoo!
Car has 255km on it now.
It surprises me in every corner! Even though I have snow tires on it right now (Bridegstone Blizzak WS-50's, sized 195-55-15).
This thing is good.
It's so hard keeping the revs down.
The LSD is very nice! I did some powerslides in a snow covered lot and the car pulls right out of the slide, which I also have to thank the good tires for.
I expect the car to have about 1200km on it by Sunday night.
I'm going on a road-trip to Ottawa ON tonight (3.5 hr drive there) and then Kingston ON Sunday.
Sunday I am competing in the MotorSport Club of Ottawa's Winter Rally-X.
I bought this car to play with, so lets play!!!
First impressions:
VERY good suspension! Once I set the stereo to the settings on the card that comes with it (where it notes what the optimal settings are for this car) it rocks! It was only ho-hum until that point.
It took me forever to figure out how to change radio stations!
The manual helped me there.
It is pretty cold here this morning (around -15C I think) and the suspension was squeaking on my way to work. DIdn't do it yesterday when it was close to 0C, so I blame cold.
I've heard no "clunk" yet.
And the stares! People love this car!!
I do too.
Yay!
