It really is a Mazda!

So I called an Uber. Didn't pay much attention to the car coming. Scion something or other. I get in the car and get situated and then my jaw hits the floor.
It's a Mazda I've never seen. I mean, I think it is. I see the radio display. It's mine....wtf?!?
And then....I see the Commander Knob. Wait, what?!? I ask the woman "what the hell car is this?"
"Its a Scion?!?"
"A Scion? No... It's it's a Mazda. Do you mind if I snap a few pics?!?"
My Mazda buddies aren't going to belie.... O wait... Scion...Toyota....didn't I read on the forum....o yeah.... That's right...it really is a Mazda.
I guess I just never expected it to blatantly look like a Mazda.
TLR I forgot for a minute that the Scion XA is a Mazda and kind of freaked. LoL

It's a rebadged mazda 2 sedan in the usa. It has an ugly Toyota grill and different color scheme tail lights

Can you filter/pick what kind of car you get through Uber?
Not putting down the Scion iA, but if someone is going to be ferrying people around as an occupation, I would think they'd try to use a bigger car?

I don't know. I've taken Uber maybe 4 times in my life and it ranged from small sedans up to a RAV4.

You can't pick your exact car but you can request a larger vehicle. I Uber a lot. Stopped renting cars on vacation stions mostly. [emoji106] AnD they're always my DD.

Last time I used Uber they had a Mitsubishi mirage. A vehicle not very happy with 4 occupants. At least it had the manual transmission to eek a few more ponies out of the 78 HP power plant.

I love that car. I bet that driver gets maximum return on his profit vs the cost of fueling, maintaining and buying the Mirage

My very first car was a used Mitsubishi Mirage branded as a Dodge Colt. I loved that piece of s***.

We got a base model Mirage as a rental in Vegas one year. 2nd worst car I've ever driven. Wife's (then gf) Plymouth Breeze being the worst.

My worst car ever was a 2013 (latest body style) Ford Escape. Not only was it the worst car ever, pretty sure it was cursed by someone in manufacturing. Last Ford I will ever drive.

I use them (well Lyft) a lot as I travel for work. Last time was a 3 series. Cars are really all over the place lol.
