I've had a few problems over the last couple of autocross races with my transmission popping out of 2nd gear when I'm braking hard for a corner. Doesn't happen every time under normal braking, just when I really slam the brakes before a tight corner. Normally I am able to catch it when I hear the shifter pop into neutral, but every now and then I miss it and get a nice surprise when I get back into the gas.
I don't believe this is an engine mount issue since it happened before and after getting the TRZ dog bone rear mm.
I know COBB makes the $25 shifter weight, but wasn't sure if this would solve the issue. Has anybody else experienced this same problem?
