Hi all!

I've had these Lexus wheels lying around naked for a while now, and I finally splurged for some nice AVS ES100's. Since there are some older threads asking for pics of these wheels on our P5's, I thought I'd oblige. =) Hope you like them.

Oooo..nice! I like them on the car. I think they look better on the p5 than on the IS anyways. Plan to lower?

thanks! i'm really happy with them. i have no immediate plans on lowering (yet), although when the time comes for a new suspension i'll definitely get some aftermarket components. i'm running 215/45/17's also, which may be more prone to rubbing when lowered than 215/40. but i chose it for the extra meat between the road and wheel, there's really some pretty bad potholes in southern california. anybody have experience lowering this size and +50mm offset?

Hey man, give some props to the designer of those amazing centercaps!!! Zumi, I ended up moving back to the Bay Area. You still at Berkeley?

hahah hey shaun! welcome back to cali =) yes, i got these rims from him, complete with stylish mazda-logo centercaps. maybe they're so well done and subtle that nobody noticed to comment on them? heheh

i graduated from berk a year ago, and am now working in socal. are you back at your former job?

how wide are those wheels? I would bet like 7.5", in which case lowering with those tires/wheels will not be a problem as long as they have +50mm...it could have a few mm's less, but if they are like a +40mm or something, game over...

from the pics it looks like you will be fine (it looks like they are +50mm)

IS wheels are 17x7's unless you get the rears off of the sportcross. The sportcross wheels are 7.5".

I think the stock offset is 50mm.

that's correct. i don't know about the sportcross, but mine are 17x7" with +50mm offset

hey those rims look great! the sculpting of the wheel is definitely stylish. if you find you can lower then do it. there are some Espelir Springs going on sale on this forum board. i'm not sure if they'll work for you though.

if you or anyone is interested i have a set of used racingbeat springs (still on my car) that will be going on sale. they would drop your P5 almost 1". pics

yeah, it looks real good and they are similar in style to the racingharts that came on the mp3.

My bro has an IS300. If he buys rims, (which he says he wants to do)
I'm getting 17's. yea!

nice, PM me before you try to put them on, there are some minor modifications and other info you will need =) it's not quite plug and play
