for like 30 minteus stirahgt i was in a snow filled arpking logt liek 4 inches on teh ground and i was j turning and drifting and you no 180's and stuff. but afterwards my car was acting weird is this just in my head or am i hurting it

In Canada, you can't be charged for anything against the HTA (Highway Traffic Act), unless you were on a highway. (they consider all roads/streets/courts/lanes/etc to be highways) Parking lots are private property and are not covered by any section of the HTA.

I suspect the USA to be similar.

Well if not traffic citations then the manager can call the police on you and get you that way. That word "private property" means you can be busted for trespassing if you are causing problems.

Yes, I have seen cars here burn a full tread of all season rubber trying to get out, you see the tires smokin, simply cause of the friction, winter tires bear the stress a lot better but still

yeah usa doesn't have that parking lot rule. had a buddy get a "spinning tires" ticket in the 7-11 parking lot.

in most citys in the US there not suposed to give you a ticket for horseing around in a parking lot, it depends alot on the cop what your doing. If they ticket u in a parking alot what stop form standing at the end of the dragstrip handing out tickets both are privite property

the difference is that you don't have permission to be in the parking lot. you pay to race on the drag strip and its a legal racetrack.

My friend Stacey lives in St. Catherines Ontario. That parking lot law is bulls***, the police can get around it by witnessing what you were doing, then issuing a summons with your license plate used. The officer gets in touch with the people who own the parking lot and ask if they would agree to press charges.
