Is this a "knock"

Ok so its only happened i believe on one nite, car sat at least a few hrs before i took it out again. temp was in the 40's.

When I would come to a stop, it sounded like there was knocking going on somewhere like inside the dash. Given the convo's on this board about knocking of this engine, could this be the engine that i was hearing.

I would say it the sound most closely resembled maybe an acorn rolling around in a wood box a 2 or 3 times.

Any help would be great

very strange if its doing it at idle put your foot on the brake and give the motor a little gas (turn off the radio and stuff) see if it gets louder or goes away this is a good way to put it under a load you don't have to get nuts on the Accl to do it, Also Remember theres a HUGE cat cov on the back side of the motor right under the firewall maybe the cat has a issue or heat shield etc.... I use Prem gas 93 octane here, your running good gas right? if it was pinging tho I'd be sure your performance your be hindered as the knock sensor would kick in to compensate. mmm. its hard to say w/o hearing it, what you at for mileage on the ODO. Try listening as must first suggestion states so many things hard to diagnosis over the board.
