is this a good header?

doesn't look to be in stock. I would buy something proven to work that others on the forum have bought. :)

for less you can pass emissions with the new shorty that wagner is releasing- and I trust his stuff 189 for mild steel(i think) and 250 for better stuff.... However, I have heard of HP racing, nothing bad to say for the price.

i would rather have the racing mazda header...i live in rural GA, so we have no emission tests...but i'll take what i can get.

They are ceramic coated, and cant beat that 4-2-1 design.

Pretty sweet.

the HP headers never went into production, the only produced header's are:
racingmazda: not recommended for customer service etc.
AWR: never heard a bad thing about it but you spend more
OBX Probe header: needs modification but can be had cheap enough to make it worth it.
Ractive has a header but has only made about 10 so far and they are in canada.
Essential Speed of canada has some good lookin headers
Wagner is making some headers also, a shorty that retains the first cat and Im not sure if he has a full 4-1 or 4-2-1 header yet, dependable quality and service with wagner.

Those HP header's are available. The only way you'll get those header's, is at your nearest (Performance shop). HP-Racing won't sell you the header's, "you have to have your/any performance shop get them for you!!!!;)

have you tried calling or emailing them about the headers because i doubt they carry them in stock. your best bet is to either get the probe header off ebay, awr, wagner, or try to track down a ractive one.. -jay

Actaully you can, 4 to 1 would be better.

I thought you lose quite a bit of low end using a 4-1 header...even though you gain on the top end of the power range...4-2-1 should give an even, smooth boost throughout the RPM band.
