Not to undermine Strick, but if for some/any reason that doesn't work out, Glenn's Wheel Polishing has painted and/or repaired wheels for me at good prices. Don't know if they powdercoat, but might be worth checking. Low rent location by the airport, but they do nice work.

called em, No PC

Hmmm... I've never looked into powdercoating, but my buddy says that shop is among the more reasonably priced shops he trusts locally. And he does frame-up restorations on classic cars, coating numerous parts in the process.

I'll keep fishing, though, to see if anyone else I know can offer a suggestion.

My search appears to be over, I found a guy in north Brandon who is doing my wheels. He has an oven at his house which is modified to accept larger parts, wheels are no sweat.

I asked him If he wanted more business, and he said he had 4 kids to feed

Have not seen the work yet, and I wouldd not roll up on him like it was an overnite shipping facility, But the price is right

I'm getting black with satin clear coat

His email is : mandvtownsel@verizon.net

I'll have pics , (and a set of virgin MS3 wheels) posted soon

sweet, let us know :)

I have a contact in Largo that is powder coating a local fellow S2000 owner's rims for $50 a piece and that includes fixing any blemishes and mounting and balancing the tires back on the rims.

Very nice deal indeed, after doing the PC you can be sure his mounting will be careful

Not to mention thats a 10~20/wheel deal right there

Some examples from the valrico powdercoater

Well, my wheels are not done yet, but Mike sent me some pics of past parts he has done to post up here, I have some others, but I am at work, and cannot access photobucket

these are a highgloss radiator support and window moldings
