is there a way to smoke out my tail lights?

is there a kit i can buy to smoke out my tail lights, i've been thinking of changing the style of my car a bit. if you guys know how to do it, or no where i can buy ones for cheap( besides ebay) plaes let me know, thanks.

well this company http://www.smokedlamps.com does it for you but its a bit expensive. You can do it yourself just go to Canadian Tire and pick up a can called Nite Shade by VHT. Its like $20.

thanks man, and how do i aply it, do i spray over the light or in side the case?

Yea the spray goes on the outside. (eyeballs)

yeah for sure on the outside. Some people even clear coat it. It looks good when applied correctly. The more coats you put the darker it becomes, so make sure you apply evenly on both lights. Take your time don't rush.

yeah you should be able to get VHT Niteshades at most local speed shop. I just ordered a can for $8.42 from a local place here. make sure your first coat is really light (mine didn't even look like I sprayed them) then build on it from there. and yeah its a ton easier if you just take the lights out. its only 3 nuts to undo on each side so its definitely worth it.

so just to be 100% sure (so i don't **** up),

do I:

1) put a clear coat
2) put the nite shade stuff or what?

how do i do it exactly. and in what motion do i spray, how long till it dry, and how long does it last for, thanx, i no its alot of questions but i really want this to turn out nice.

It's the part that recharges the dilithium crystals inside the battery. Looks cool when it's smoked.

1. removed the lights
2. taped off anything i did not want to paint
3. i sprayed the niteshade side to side and up and down evenly (change the way you spray after each coat)
i waited 10 to 15 min between each coat
4. after 3hrs of waiting i sprayed the clear on evenly wait about 20min between each coat. wilson

o okay so you aplied the clear coat after u were done spraying it with the nite shades.
