I drove a vehicle across the 100,000 mark for the second time in my life today. The MPV is old, now. I took camera-phone pictures of 99,999 and 100K. It's held together pretty well so far, much better than the '89 Escort I drove to 100K then replaced!
Then I parked in the garage at UGA next to two sketchy-looking guys sitting in an old Cougar (or T-bird). They were just sitting in the car when I got there, sitting in the car while I gathered up my stuff, and sitting there in the car when I walked away. I told the garage managers, and suggested they have campus security check them out. There was a set of slip-joint pliers on the ground outside of their car, also. Could have been coincidence, could have been nothing, but they kept looking over at me, one at a time, then looking away when they saw me look back.
Very odd. I hope I don't get back to the van and find it broken into.
