to pay the Mazda Dealership to pretty much rebuild my car back to original? I need the roof moldings, a new headliner (cause my car leaks when it rains so im sure the headliner has mold), new sun visors and ALL the plastic pieces on the inside of the car.

My car also leaks into the two front doors. I've called every junkyard that I can find and NONE have any protege5's... this is my last stop... what do you think?

It's your call, if you think it's a bad idea then don't do it. I know ppl who have faxed cars three times, each timethe car was totalled. But to them it was worth it. It doesn't sound too hard what your talking about. I'd get the roof rails done and then gut the car myself. It's a hatch so the headliner is a little easier to get out, I'd rock no headliner and price it back together as I got parts. Just my .02.

fixed the cars three times through the dealership? and yeah i'll buy parts through the dealer when i can and put them back on...

Sedan doors fit on the P5. Everything from the C-pillar forward is the same. Also, watch for part-outs for the interior pieces. I'm sure the dealer will **** you on those.

You forgot to PM me...I have the parts you need...lol...send me a message with what all you want...

Yes. Bad idea.
Get an estimate for the parts from the dealership first.

After freaking out - then...

...have patience and watch the FS section here and buy used as they part out other cars...

+1 the dealer will **** you for parts, lately i have either been buying off the forum, going aftermarket or ordering parts from the U.S., because even with shipping+duty its still cheaper (about 20%-30%) to buy from here then my local stealership in Canada.
