is 8-9 Litres / 100km normal for highway fuel comsumption?

i drive highway mainly, usually 70-75km each day (95%+are highway)

rarely rev higher than 3.5k rpm

hit gas bar twice a week getting 91 octane shell v power 19-20Litres(cost me $30 canadian)

no passenger, no spare tire, no extra weight never full tank of gas (only a roof rack with no wind deflector might increase fuel comsumption slightly)

so basicly i use 6-7Litres each day and it end up like 8-9L/100km for highway?

normal? or its slightly high?

If it is anything to you, i get around 500kms to a tank, so it tends to be around 10L/100km for me

i am just curious, since skyactive engine goes for 5-5.5L/100km and most honda toyota low end sedan/hatch goes like 6-7L/100km for highway

8-9 looks lil high for highway, just wondering if that means i need to check alignment / wheel / tire / change spark plug or something like so to improve it.

i do notice my car tends to go left when i am not touching the steering wheel btw

Your alignment is off but that won't cause a dramatic drop in gas mileage. Since your O2 sensor was bad the ECU is running off of preset fuel tables in closed loop and giving you the bad MPGs.

yea i drove home 36km and dont see much drop in fuel level tonite, guess that new O2 sensor must doubled my fuel economy LOL
