iPod Connection

Is there an easy way to hook up an iPod Touch and use the dash controls?

I don't really want to go to a dealership and get this installed for a ridiculous price.

I also read on an aftermarket site that iPod Touches cannot be integrated. Is this true?

If anyone has any info about the iPod connection please respond.

Thanks.

If you have a 2nd gen iPod Touch with the 3.0 software you can connect it through bluetooth and the audio quality is still good if your music is encoded at a decent bitrate. You'll only be able to use the controls to pause it however, but if you get something like the griffin tune dock you can stand it up and have it charge and just touch the screen. It looks pretty cool. I'll take a picture of my setup for reference when I get a chance. Also you can have a phone AND iPod Touch connected on bluetooth at the same time. Whenever you want to use the phone it overrides the iPod audio.

I've heard that you cant have the ipod integration set up and sirius sat radio hooked up together and at same time? is that true?

kind of. Well, atleast it was on previous years. There is an available switch box that allows you to use both.(not concurrently playing at the same time of course)

I'd be interested in seeing the setup of this - I like the aux availability, but it'd be nice to have a stand to mount it.
