aftershock63 - As mentioned before, we had explained why there is a 7% equalization fee for CC via Paypal.
Here it is again for those who didn't catch it the first time:
(1) Right off the bat to recieve a Paypal payment it's 3.5% off the top.
(2) An extra 1% is taken by Paypal for "international" payments.
(3) Paypal does not allow the transfer of US Funds out of the country into another US Fund account. It requires that the funds are exchanged into local currency. Paypal consistently pays 3% less then our local bank exchange rate. This is on top of the $0.50/transaction charge.
As an example, for $100US paid via MO in Canadian funds would be $135. However if it were paid by Paypal -> $124.66CAD. Hence after the 7% equalization fee -> $107US becomes -> $133.43CAD in the end. This still doesn't totally give an equal exchange.
nattyboy513 - yes this can be done by a DIY enthusiast. You will need either a hole saw or sawzall or dremel to be able to cut the correctly sized holes. The rest of the install is very easy.
