Interesting rattling noise

I don't think it is the same as the TSB. It happens cold or hot, 1rst through third gear, right around 2500 RPM. Just a rattling noise from the engine bay.

For clarification, its a 2003 MP5 manual. Any ideas?

Metal shroud around the header pecat or primary cat. Do you have both adjuster bushings for the hood? Have you opned the hood and reved the engine from the throttle body to see if anything is ratlleing or loose?

Don't know if it's the same rattling I had. Mine sounded like it was coming from either the ride side corner of the engine bay or the A pillar on the passenger side. Happened between 2200-3000 rpm.
