Jay is really pumped about getting started on this, we may even have an article about it in Grassroots Motosports once Grand-Am sets the date. If you have not been to a Mazda Corral, I would highly recommend you attend 1 or 2.

We have a great time, as we always have the largest car counts at all of our major events. With carshows, hospitality and more being planned, we are looking to make 2011 evenr better.

Our crewmember for a day/weekend is expanded, so many members will get to assist the various Mazda teams in the pits. most teams will give a team shirt or hat for helping out and they'll also feed you too!

So it is only going to get better.....

We are looking at October 1st, Friday eveningf with all of the other events planned it could be a full weekend of events for the Ohio members. Here is what team Sahlen is offering.



A) Food = Subs, Water and Pop, Chips and Cookies

B) In-Car video on Big Screen in Opportunity Hall

C) T-shirts, etc merchandise giveaways in drawings

D) Everyone gets = Fan Cards, Hot Dog Boy cards, Yellow plastic bags,

E) Tour of shop

With the BBQ in Tolodo and the Fun run on Sunday...looks like there is a lot of opportunity for a lot of travel and fun. I have also asked for an alternate date to get more peopel to attend, I will let you know if anything changes.

Let us know a solid time Marlon, but I ought to be able to do it. I'll either have to request off work or only work until 3 or 4 and come straight there. I'll do my best to work something out and be there to show my support. I definitely think it is important that if Team Sahlen is taking the time to do this for us, we have a good showing. I can't do the saturday get-together in Toledo due to work (I have to make some money...for coilovers...) but I am 99% sure I will be at the Sunday fun run. It will be a fun weekend before we are stuck chatting online for the next 6 months while it snows.

Team Sahlen Shop Tour Friday October 1, 2010
Please join us for a full tour of the Team Sahlen Shop Tour. You will get to check out both of their Rolex GT RX-8's and their Conti Tire Sports Car Challenge Speed 3 as well. The event starts @ 6:00PM and their will be giveaways, food and drink.

MonkeyAss and all you other out of town cats; you guys are always more than welcome to stay at my place if you're going to come up for the weekend. The door is always open (to the house and garage) to my Mazda peeps. Sahlen is about 30 mins south of my house according to Google Maps, so 20mins in real life.
