Yes, the ability to switch from SRI to CAI is nice, but will you do this is on a frequent enough basis to warrant the extra cost? I am not trashing the K&N (in fact I have never seen it), I am just wondering if it is worth the extra cost. I would be curious to switch to CAI and see if there is a noticeable difference, because there sure are a lot of opinions on the subject.

are you refering to a vented hood (ram intake style)?
