I was thinking about trading in my 2005 mazda6 and buying a ms3 and was just wondering how much insurance is on average month/year for a speed3 thanks for the info =D

This is pointless to be honest. It largely depends on the driver and locale, rather than type of car.

For instance, I had a new toyota avalon xls in 2000, my rate was $170 a month. Then I bought a jeep wrangler in 2006 and the rate was $150 a month. Now I get a mazdaspeed 3 in 2008 and the rate drops further to $140 a month. This is for very high coverage on 2 cars garaged in central florida where our rates are traditionally very high.

ie if I lived in rural upstate NY my rate would be $70 a month for the same 2 cars I drive now.
