Insurance Question...

For everyone that insurance has their car listed as a DX Protege If you get into an accident you may get screwed. They'll only pay you for a DX. Make sure they have it down as a MSP.
Yeah that what I reported my car as...but they qyuickly found out it was a Mazdaspeed.

How could you get away with it when they run your VIN#

Hey, I was lookin to get a MSP within the next week or so. I was wondering what the insurance goes for for this car... is it family sedan, sports car or what because I can't pay for a sports car or anything that they count as a turbo...(wrx is a family sedan. Thanks in advance.
You might want to compare, check this site http://www.insurance-quote-free.com

WOW, some of you guys pay a lot for insurance. I'm 22 years old with 6 tickets, ranging from speeding to going down a closed road. I have 3 accidents, 2 of which were my fault and my last one being May 15th 2005 (not my fault) and totaled my 2001 Acura CL type S, my insurance compay had a large payout. And after all this my monthly payments are only $ 110.00!!! DAMN, my insurance company rocks!!!! And this is full coverage!!!!!

You gotta be ridin' the parents insurance still. Way to go (thumb) you're lucky.

I am at $130/month.

www.insweb.com also has quotes. Depending on your age and driving history, Progressive might be your only option. As far as the company having your vehicle description wrong, it doesn't matter unless you knowingly mislead them. Its up to them to classify and rate your vehicle properly. If you have additonal equipment on the car, its up to you to let them know and pay the additional premium for the equipment. Otherwise, your claim settlement will be based on a stock MSP and equipment. The MSP is not a surcharged car. The power to weight ratio does not mandate a performance surcharge.

39, no tickets or accidents, married, house, multi-car discount, and still decent insurance in one of the most expensive markets to own a car. USAA is excellent.

Oh, I do miss NC insurance rates (Raleigh for a year). After 25 years in South Florida, it was heaven.
