Sorry if this has been posted multiple times. I've searched and come across threads that mention this upgrade, but nothing completely.
I grabbed an early 2002 P5 (without door tweeters) and am thinking of popping some in, either the door sail ones from the 2003 or just mount some on the dash/bar.
Do I just run the wires off the door speaker terminals? Do I need an attenuator to block out the lows, like these? I've never added just tweeters before, only components.
And speaking of components, I was considering just going that route except that there's already Alpine SPS-517's in the door. Figured I'd keep those in--let me know if that's dumb (scratch).
