Installing GPS into Maxx

Hey,

I have recently purchased a CX5 Maxx and I wanted to know if it is possible to install the mazda gps system into the car display and sound after market? I didn't want to pay thousands more when all I really want is the sat nav and I really wanted a manual.

Any ideas?

I don't really want to replace the in car display as I love everything about the car but I would really love the navigation system.

I was hoping the same (only had the car for three weeks) but after reading not one good review of the Mazda Nav unit and doing some snooping behind the dash - It just wasn't an option.

Unfortunately the Maxx doesn't come with the wiring harness to fit the SD card reader (can buy on Ebay), nor does it have the GPS antenna fitted under the centre speaker grill - which apparantly is in the overseas model.

You might be better off putting the money towards a regular GPS and upgrading the terrible speakers in the doors.
