Hey all,

So I just sent the $$$ away for an Eibach Pro Kit for my P5. I will be having my friend who is a professional mechanic do the gist of the install. Being on the forum for a while, I remember reading about some people needing to get something additional for their spring installs. I don't remember what....some kind of plate or maybe a spacer.....who knows.....but since suspension is not my bag, I'm wondering IF there is anything else I need to "pre-purchase" to make the install clean and easy, as well as reliable. Right now I am running on my Stock 16's and Stock Struts. Eventually, I will upgrade to new struts (tokico maybe....suggestions would be cool !) and probably 17's (18's look like they could bottom out ! Advice on that one??) Anyway, you get the idea. I just need to make sure I have the necessary parts and pieces to do this right the first time.

Also, what's the "break-in" time on the Eibach's anyhow? (Settling)

Thanks for the help!

Nope...nothing. No need to pre-purchase anything. All you need to do is get an alignment and camber checked after the install. Break-in time on the springs..maybe 500-1000km.

Eibach Pro-Kit on P5

I have to agree......there is nothing else needed except the wheel alignment. I am running the kit on my 2003 Pro 5 with the stock P5 suspension and upgraded 18 inch wheels.

Enjoy the new ride quality that this kit brings to the handling of your car.
