Like title says, i just recieved my COBB SRI this morning and i was wondering if theres anything i need to know that the installation guide doesn't have that only user expereince would know. Any type of input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

I dont have the COBB but my .02 is to:

TAKE YOUR TIME

I spent way too much time installing my CAI but I know that everything is where it is supposed to be.

Good Luck with the install though.

Thanks and i shall. i just hate those stupid surprises where your just like wtf?(notcool)(uhm)

We have seen that 2 washers sometimes do not appear with the kit. Recommend you get some.
Cobb's instructions are good. Pretty straight forward install.

Have fun.

Yep, pretty straight forward.
Some have issues getting the stock accordian tube out of the car.....but it's no real biggie.

yeah, the stock accordion tube was a pita on my car. Its easy as pie to remove it from the turbo inlet, but there is a little plastic elbow thing connected to it at about the halfway point. My advice to you is to pull the stock accordion tube off the turbo inlet and start rotating it to get it loose, then rotate it perpendicular to the engine bay and rock the tube side to side until it comes off.

Damn, this makes me want to replace my CP-E CAI with the Cobb SRI I just got this week...but it's too cold!!!

Don't drop the washers into the engine bay......and spend 30 mins trying to find it......lol

A little lubricant, even motor oil if you want to be creative, helps get that oem fitting out of the accordion that you'll need to re-use in order to install your COBB SRI.

hha yeah what a pita. COBB SRI IS AMAZING THOUGH. I DEFINATELY RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO ORDER IT ASAP. It's rediculous!!!
