So i installed it and everything went good except...one of the bolts the hold the cat onto stock exhaust did not want to come out so ended up cutting it...after that was done everything went up nice and snug with no exhaust leaks. Cant complain at all :) Sounds mo' betta!

If anyone can point me in direction of where i could buy the stock bolt would be appreciated. I dont need the nut or spring. It is NOT the one that bolts up to the downpipe. It IS the one that bolts to the donut.

Mine were pretty tight / rusted as well. I just sprayed some WD 40 on there and let it set for a few min.

Its just a standart bolt so you coud measure the other one or have someone tell you the dimensions. Then home depot or any place should have them.

maybe 5-10hp at most but nothing really noticeable (cept that s*** smell when you first fire it up after installing)

The bolts that came off mine weren't the standard bolt. It had some weird design. I had to use the stock bolts to fit it up against the down pipe. I bought 3.5"x 3/8 to connect to the cbe

I have been tossing the idea around on the SU pipe. I was going to go with a Turbo XS DP because of the cost, but I'm thinking about ordering a CPE setup. I'm worried about the smoking issue after the install.

<<< confused. You worried about the test pipe or DP ?? Test pipes should require no thinking. Just get them. Super easy to install and cause no problems whatsoever. That is unless you leak which wont happen if you get the SU pipe (with gasket). Not to mention they are cheap and on sale at SU right now

i used the stock bolts to hook up to downpipe and then used their supplied 4inch monsters to hoook to the donut...put washers on both sides of stock spring and crushed it down tight!

I didn't get no gasket with my pipe. Are they suppose to give you one? It said to use the stock gasket

I dont remember there being a gasket on the DP side. Its just a spring loaded bolt. The stock gasket is on the catback side. Mine was all rusted so it didn't seal properly. I had to order a new gasket from SU which was kind of annoying. Actually it wasn't that bad since I live like 20 min from their HQ.

When I took my cat off, the stock gasket stayed connected to the dp. So it was pretty simple connecting the test pipe to it

Stock donut gasket on the CB side here too with no leaks or issues after 8k miles. Love it, sounds perfect, deeper without being annoying and definitely felt the improvement. No brainer for $150

emissions

will the SU test pipe affect emissions? just want to know if i will need to put the stock mid pipe back on when its time to smog the car

It deletes the second catalytic converter (cat) so, yes it will affect emissions. It's also very easy to replace back to stock if you need to...

Other than the deeper notes that I know sound good and the quicker turbo spooling does anybody know how much hp/torque this race pipe adds?

I wouldn't remove your resonators. Its going to sound bad (imo this video sounds terrible) and it will drone like mad. Not sure about the turbo thing. I can't hear his turbo spooling in the video.

this is how my car sounds. this is with the two resonators before the muffler deleted. but my muffler is still intact

if you listen closer to the black ms3 that sounds like an srt4 you will hear the whurl sound of the turbo spooling after he revs it. im wondering if his turbo spool is louder b/c he is str8piped

but the ms3 in the vid in my previous post deleted both resonators and the muffler and str8piped his exhaust. thats why it sounds like a srt4. mine sound nothing like that as you can hear.
