witchdoktor, help me out. I've looked at all your pics closely and the E-bay pics to no avail. Maybe I'm blind.

do the tails have have the black underneath a clear housing, or is the whole housing black plastic with the red lenses fitted into it? Also, are these things legal? I didn't see a side reflector.

These might look good painted to match my white ES.

the black is under a clear plastic cover. Not sure how easy it would be to take it apart and paint them but would look killer if it's possible. Workmanship on these is higher quality than most other companies.

legal.......your asking someone who has 20% tint all around and 50% on the windshield........I don't know if it's legal, I forgot to check.....lol. I should look for a DOT number, the APC tails do have a DOT number on their tails.

Yeah, I say the little indention/tab thingy, I wasn't sure if that counted as legit or not. Looks like it probably would be legal, if not, you could still argue with Roscoe about the indention. That's a pretty good price on those, Corksports "series II" altezzas are over $200. (scratch)

Is the blinker below the 3 circles? And is it amber? Or do one of the 3 circles act as the blinker?

I might end up getting like.. APC euro lights, taking them apart and painting the silver part black

turn signal is amber which sits under the three red lights.


Rizzo - those altezzas series III look crazy. I wish they had the pic for the protege. Also the retro APC's ones might be interesting. Nice to see the choices for our cars increasing

I don't see how that one pair of Gen III's is going to fit. I can't wait to see someone with the 3d's. They are interesting none the less.

I'm not so sure about the series III's. I'll have to see them lit up first. Maybe they look better that way. The corksport pic make them look like an instrument panel from a UFO. I don't want my whip to look like a spaceship until it can fly

nah, totally different. You can do a "SEARCH" and see aftermarket tails for the P5

No, they don't. if you want blacked out Protege 5 tails, just go on ebay and get a pair of the clear ones, and then open em and paint.
