Inspection Help (757) peeps

i need my protege inspected by the end of April. The place i usually take it too has been passing it when i put my stock hood, tail lights, and take out my hid's. The problem is I am now catless if all we get in the 757 is safety should i worry? I also live in Maryland now but want to keep my car resgistered in Norfolk im just trying to save a few extra trips for a failed safety inspection due to being catless. Anyone in 757 area catless if so where do you take your car? and do you know if they put it on a lift to actually check the exhuast. Edit im not looking for handouts or a place that will just pass it i just need advice or a place thats more lenient.

they dont check the exhaust for saftey inspections. they check all light, horn, brakes, seatbelt, and usually the front window.
