input ideas on engine cover art...

im tired of my old engine cover, so i am going to try and grind it down, paint it a base color, like white or something, than draw a really cool picture, or collage on it with paint markers, than clear it. any ideas?
i was thinking maybe a super hero theme, or something.
just looking for ideas...
btw im talking about the plastic MSP one.

I would do black base with a Silver sharpie or something like that, because white in your motor bay since you have a black car... wouldent look right.

I just recently sprayed mine a shiny black and put a Chun-Li sticker over the mazdaspeed logo. Got the same sticker on the license plate. And a Sakura sticker on the battery cover. Street fighter fan. lol

haha thats cool. my engine bay is still spicy (car was repainted "escalade black" from previous owner). i only want a lighter base, so i could draw a bunch of stuff on it with paint markers, but i suppose i could use white markers on a black base? stickers is an option, but i want it to be a little more original....oh yea, silver sharpee would probably look cool. im thinking maybe pokemon theme lol. streetfigher theme is pretty cool lol

just a comment: its ******* tragic that your MSP was repainted... especially a spicy, and especially to black. if they wanted a black MSP why didnt they just buy that.

^what he said, Honestly, if I do get another DD, i will be trying to get a spicy, but just weld the LSD, and keep everything else stock.

Another idea would be to have it vinal wrapped. Then you can have any words/images that you want put on it. Just a thought.

be careful taking a grinder to that cover, pretty sure that would just melt the plastic

i missed that on the first read... i agree you would be wise to be cautious, if you do decide to grind it, select your tools carefully and go slooooow.
