Injen or exhaust? opinions please

I've done searches, and they are about even. I was wondering what I should do. I've recently sold my K&N cone intake, and I miss it so much, I didnt know that so little extra would make so much of a difference. I have just about enough saved for either an Injen cold air, or a nice axle-back. Is the axle-backs really worth around $200+? I was leaning for the Mazdaspeed muffler or the Injen. I am really not looking for much, just wanna have the most fun for the little $ I have.

the injen will make loads of noise under acceleration but not while cruising, and its a good performanec booster like any intake. the exhaust should be secondary, especially if you're gonna get a whiny ricey axle back. ima get the gredddy which is pretty quiet relatively

well i dont consider my axle back ricey. but anyways, go with the injen as your mod first, then the exhaust.

intake then exhaust. well, proper sequence should be intake, header, exhaust... but yeah... you want to free up the restriction up stream before you take care of the backlog downstream.

A guy at my job told me to go with the exhaust first, but I told him I might go with the Injen first because there are so many mufflers out there. Do not want to sound like Uncle Ben. Plus I'm better off with a cat-back, which i cant afford yet.

There's a Injen system on ebay with 3hrs. left for $180+ $20 to ship. I've been eyeing it all week, debating??????????????????????????????????????????????????? Something like that I would want to go with a new one.

depends on if you want the polished or like a red colored intake...they arent much more expensive to buy from adventon.com straight out

do a search on this forum for pictures...i know ive seen pics of my blue one, a black one, a red one, and the polished one. i dont think there are any more than that.

the blue wont match as well with your car, but the red would also look nice matching your strut bar imo

Yeah, the intake is definatly the wise choice. They do hiss a little, but it's not that bad considering the power you can get from it. Saving for the cat-back is also alot better than just an axle back, and who cares what it sounds like, so long as YOU are happy with it. Cat-backs are only a little more than an axle-back, and definatly worth it. I had one on my P5, and I loved it. I was lazy and just bought the one from the dealer, nice, but way too loud, shoulda shopped areound a bit. Take your time, and you'll find what you like
