2003.5 Yellow MSP
I just installed a Injen CAI and the blow off valve likes to chirp at low revs....like 3-5, kinda new with this stuff so any suggestions? I have had a mechanic look at the set up, everything's correct with it...so I am sure nothing is backwards...any help would make the car sound better. thanx

that chirp is normal....... and its more of a turkey gobbling noise

do a search for "turkey" on this forum...... it's normal.... nothings going bad

Buy a different brand of turkey.:p
Seriously there has been many a thread on this subject BOV -vs -BPV use that magic of magics search button and you will find more than you want to read.
No offense. I kinda like my turkey. I named him Hal.

get a new BOV meant to handle increased air flow

not damaging your car tho so dont be worried.... and actually it dies down after a week or two

for those of you with 2003.5 MSPs, where did you relocate the coolant resivoir, since it blocks the opening into the fender? I noticed a hole that you can put a screw through to screw the resivoir to something, but just not sure. If someone can put up some pics or something to show what you did, that would help out.

I just installed my injen cai 2 days ago and dayam! That thing sqwaks like a bastard. Turkey on steroids :D It's funny because when I shift in traffic people around me are like :wtf: is that noise. It's all butterball BABY!:D
