Independent Fog Light Mod for 2014 GJ

Looking for figuring this out, as I've done it following a great write up for my 2005 Mazda 3.

Anyone heard about doing this on the new 2014 models?

On a similar note, can the OEM Fogs Stay on when High Beams are used? If they are made independent, that would probably take care of the problem.
