First of all, excuse me if this isn't in the right section. I don't really know where to put windshield related topics.
Anyways, we just got through a minor snow/ice storm here. About 4-6" of snow and about .5-1" of ice. Yesterday I had let my car run for a bit before I even attempted to clear off the wintery mix. Well, after I had my car clear off and drove around, I noticed an increase in wind noise coming from the passenger side of the windshield. It's similar to the sound one would hear if your windows were open a crack. I checked all the windows and they were sealed up fine. So I guess my question is, did the weight of this ice/snow combined with me clearing it off somehow cause the seal to weaken on my windshield? Has anyone else had this problem? My car is due in for service soon, so I'll get them to check it out.
