"in tack"????

Ok, not picking on anyone particular here, but I see a lot of people say the phrase "in tack". Here's an example...

"someone broke into my car, but my stereo system was left in tack."

WTF is "IN TACK"???

It's "INTACT", people. INTACT!

The overall sentence structure is not a big deal, given we are often just spurting thoughts from our heads.
However, you should still be able to spell simple words such as intact.

The one that actually irks me is the usage of your and you're

You're=You are=You're going to get a P5 (correct)
NOT
Your going to get a P5.

instead
Is that your P5?

I think the engine being INTACK is more important than forum grammEr.

It's my opinion that people on this forum would tend to take your posts with a greater grain of salt, if your grammar is two shades short of incoherent ... At least I do ... I find myself paying more attention to writers who use complete, logical sentences and correct grammar & spelling ... They just make more sense.

It's more of a subtle thing really.. People who use better grammar seem to be more trustworthy, and knowledgable. Keyword however for this site is *SEEM*...

And let's not forget punctuation. I can't tell you how many times my eyes have glazed over while reading someone's post that contains absolutely zero periods, commas, etc. Maybe that was cool when Kerouak did it, but not today. The internet and email have conspired to make people lazy.

I've got another misusage for you..

a and an. I don't know how many people use the word a when they should have used an!
For example: "I just bought a orange MSP!" = Incorrect
"I just bought AN orange MSP!" = correct
.. hehe (not saying that I'm perfect or anything) I do tend to rush sometimes.
