Improving 2.5 performance

Hi all,

Can anyone give any advice on how I can increase the power/torque of the new 2.5 CX-7? I haven't seen any mods of ECU flashes etc.

I'm thinking it can do better than 160hp (180hp achievable?).

i'm not sure if there is any aftermarket out there yet for the 2.5, or if any of the parts (exhaust for example) from the 2.3T will bolt up to the 2.5. If so, I'm sure a good Intake/Header/Exhaust will give you a little bump in the HP world.

Nah, you'll probably spend that in upgrades trying to reach 1/2 of what the 2.3T puts out. Not trying to be a jerk, just showing you reality.

I thought perhaps that there was an ECU flash or something that could relinquish a few more hp.
