Import Alliance meet 2007 July 14th and 15th in Nashville, TN

I think it would be awesome if all the Mazda's parked together, so at 8am we are going to meet at the gas station that is right off the exit at the bridge just before you pull around and go to where Import Alliance is at. I really hope to see all the Mazda's that traveled from Memphis and other places! Lets show Nashville that its not just all about Hondas,Nissans, and all the other played out imports!

So was anyone else not that impressed with the Import Alliance show? I left at like 1pm. The only impressive things I saw were the Civic hatch with the LS2 Vette motor in it, and a couple 500-600hp Hatchs in the back of the first parking lot, a 500hp integra with dyno sheets. Some guy in a blue MSP with the plates "ITSSLOW" from Mississippi was there but didn't get to talk to him, and Jonathan with the Spicy Orance MSP I saw him once, didnt get to talk to him. But Dugger_8 and his wife, myself and my wife, Lee from Huntsville (white 3 sedan) and my buddy in my unit with a yellow MSP were the only ones from the Mazda group. Unless you count the RX7/RX8 guys...but they are snooty and don't talk to us FWD Mazda guys :( Overall, I don't think that they should have charged to get in, or charged $3 for a bottle of water, and $4 for a soda, fries were pretty cheap though. I just think that the show was a flop, no dyno, no decent vendors, and s*** was over priced, and the entire show was nothing but Honda's and Nissans.

yeah i left work early thinking it was gonna be a huge meet like last year...it drove by and saw the cars and kept on driving. last year was huge, cars everywhere lots of ppl. and this year was a biglet down. sorry i didnt meet up with any of you guys

The civic that had the vette motor was an LS1.. and uh, check my screenname.. lol

This years was WAY bigger than last years.. I was more impressed with this years than last years since there were way more cars.. I didnt buy any of the food/drinks once I saw the prices, so I left and went to the gas station.. lol

I saw 3 other MSP's.. a yellow 03.5, yellow 03, and an orange 03.. Didnt talk to any of them though..

i went but the only thing that was worth seeing was the civic with the ls1 and 64 lincoin. i only saw 2 other mazdas 1 orange msp and that awsome silver p5, i was going to get there earlier but was in the process of swaping motor mounts.

I also liked the civic with the k24/k20 turbo swap.. Talk about highway monster..

I'll post up my pics hopefully tonight. I saw your car Slow and the spicy orange one as well. I don't think I've ever seen so many hondas in one place. It really made me feel unique, lol.

I'd like to start seeing the TN/AL area get more protege's coming out to meets. I hate being the odd man out in a sea of 3's :(

Chris

You guys shouldn't be the odd ones out, you are unique to the group! ;)

With that being said (strike)

Haha! I see you are using your work time wisely Brandon! lol. Oh so I was talking to the new guy Chad (silver P5) and he was saying my stock shifter is a short shifter, you just have to heat up this rubber expansion piece on the stock shifter and it comes right off and shortens the shifter a good ways, so I think I'd like to do that at the next meet, along with putting some of my interior back in lol.
