Hey all,
im new here but not new to the car modding phase. I am still a memeber on Bimmerforums.com, as i've seen over the past year that some of you are as well. Just joined over on M**************** too. I sold my 1996 E36 328is coupe since im back in college(after a 3 year break) and needed a great DD that will hold up compared to my very high mileage bmw
. anyways, i will get pics up when my profile is allowed to but i got in july last year a 2008 Galaxy Grey Mica 3i Touring sedan(damn dealer sold the 2.3 GT that i tried to get). for now its stock otehr than ill be swapping my 6000k Prolumen 55w kit from my bimmer to it. I've been lurking around on here for over a year checking out the forum and i like the info you all give overall. so with that done and me introduced, quick couple questions taht i havnt been able to narrow down
1: i want yellow fogs but dont want to burn up my stock wires, melt anything, etc. top three options im looking at are Nokya Hyper Yellow, Luminics JDM Yellow, Hoen Endurance. all affordable but HOEN i beleive is the only one that runs stock 55 wattage.
2. im just about due for tires at only 18K on the car(crapa** stock tires) and i've found 22/45/17 Kumho Ecsta ASX cheaper than 205/50/17. i know the tire diameter is okay, but can i squeeze a 225 on a 6.5 " rim without it looking wierd or should i just get stock size? i miss having meaty tires as my bimmer ran 255's
